Today a fresh part of my Africa Calling posts...
The first 3 (if you missed those by accident)
I also did some sort of African Wah-Wah special once,
-
What can I say?
When I first heard one of Fela's albums
with that great Wall Of Horns, I was totally blown away!
Every other album I heard IS kinda more of the same,
but that's just how I like it!
His legacy continues by his sons Seun & Femi,
though for me pops was the real thing...
Or the time I saw King Sunny Ade live at North Sea Jazz
in the Hague, I danced off my pants to those Telecasters
scattering away inbetween the percussion and the sweet
african queens backing up the lines Synchro System :-)
-
Aaah, sweet memories!
Hope you folks enjoy today's post.

THANK YOU..........YOU ARE GREAT
Just followed links over the years until I found your utterly fantabulous site. Thanks for the musical gifts. I don't know how I never knew you were where — or here.
