240: Devilish doings, part 5

Hi.
Today an 18 track helluva comp, in which all songs
in some way (or another) have dealings with the devil.
Good and bad are all flavours of the same pie,
I think one can't exist without the other either...
It ranges from all different musical angles, blues, jazz,
rap, klezmer, punk-funk, soul & even a bit of disco...
Yeah, the devil's work is never done,
I dare you to dwell a bit in my fifth delicious devil-doings
and remember that most of you co-bloggers are a
delightful mob of deranged & difficult dwellers...
No pun intended :-)

Be good, be safe and above all: Enjoy!

238: What is F.U.N.K. vol.5

Hi.
Today a fresh workout on the eternal question...
"what the f*ck is funk?"
Several answers to this tricky question can be
found in some older posts I did over here,
I guess the answer to this enigma isn't one
that's tied to a genre, era or even artists...
It's just the FUNK!
(though some of the today's solutions
are a bit onthe "smoother" side!)
-
Go for this fifth instalment,
and while you're at it,
try not to forget that the funk isn't
always what it seems to be...
even if you thought so all your life....
-
Hope you'll enjoy these ones - again -
I musn't forget to thank all the original bloggers,
without whom this freaky funky festival
couldn't flow forever freely ....
